saturday, november 27.
i went to hongdae today by myself.
[this is a subway snack. whatever it is is hot, gooey, and delicious.]
today was probably the best day i've had in seoul since my arrival. i love hanging out with elyse, her camera, and her ipod.
i went to this art store called HOMI.
i went to the "free market" [nothing is free, i don't understand why we call it this], run by art students, and bought all sorts of christmas gifts to send back to the states. everything here is handmade and its probably my favorite place to roam about!
i took two photos of everybody whom i bought gifts from.
[this guy made robot cell phone keychains from keyboard keys!]
[this guy was drawing peoples' cartoon persona. he had a huge line!]
[this girl was selling adorable cards. i bought four of them.]
[this girl was selling her handmade broaches.]
[girl crush on this lady! she was selling humorous [yet kinda gory] stickers and bookmarks.]
[she was selling hand-carved woodworks.]
[this lady was selling handmade christmas tree ornaments. so appropriate for the season!]
[evasuejane, you would love this place ...]
i concluded my shopping spree with a dynamite roll from this sushi place.
